Twenty McMaster University experts have made the 2021 international list of highly cited researchers, two more than last year.
The list, which is compiled annually by Clarivate Analytics, recognize researchers with significant and broad influence, both within their fields and across disciplines. Researchers whose work is on the list are in the top one per cent of citations for their field in the Web of Science citation index.
More than 6,600 researchers from around the world made this year’s list, including more than 200 Canadians. Those named represent approximately one in every 1,000 researchers in the sciences and social sciences.
The McMaster researchers on the list are:
