McMaster clinical medicine ranks among the best in the world

McMaster University and a number of specific programs and disciplines earned Top 100 spots in the Shanghai Rankings released this week.

McMaster University and a number of specific programs and disciplines earned Top 100 spots in the Shanghai Rankings released this week.

McMaster University and a number of specific programs and academic disciplines have been ranked among the best in the world in a top higher education ranking.

McMaster ranked 90th in the world, up two places from 2021, in the Shanghai Ranking’s 2022 Academic Ranking of World Universities.

McMaster’s clinical medicine program ranked 47th in the world, and 2nd in Canada.

As well, civil engineering, public health, library and information science, metallurgical engineering and transportation science and engineering all ranked among the top 100 such programs in the world in the Global Ranking of Academic Subjects.

A number of other programs ranked among the top 200 in the world.

More than 5,000 universities are ranked in 54 subjects across natural sciences, engineering, life sciences, medical sciences, and social sciences.
