McMaster and SEIU Local Unit 2 (Machinists) reach tentative agreement  

The university and Service Employees’ International Union (SEIU), Local 2, representing Machinists, have reached a tentative agreement.

McMaster and Service Employees’ International Union (SEIU), Local 2, representing Machinists, have reached a tentative collective agreement.

The union has ratified the agreement with its members, and the university will proceed through its ratification processes.

McMaster negotiates with all employee groups based on a set of core principles, including bargaining in good faith and committing to long-term, collaborative relationships with union partners.
