McMaster and Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 3906, Unit 4, representing Residence Life staff at the university, have reached a tentative collective agreement.

This is the first collective agreement between the university and this new bargaining unit.

Both the union and the university will proceed with their respective ratification processes.

McMaster negotiates with all employee groups based on a set of core principles, including bargaining in good faith and committing to long-term, collaborative relationships with union partners.
