With shifting media landscapes and a swell of misinformation, news from universities has never been more important.

That’s why McMaster shares stories about our biggest research findings and the impact our community is having on the world around us.

Students, faculty and staff are to participate in an anonymous survey to share your perspective on how you consume and share news that matters to you.

Your participation in this survey is anonymous.

The survey is part of a larger project run by the McMaster’s communications team to better understand the news preferences of the university’s priority audiences. The insights gathered from the survey will be used to create stories that better serve our priority audience groups, notably including McMaster’s internal community members.

McMaster’s network of communications professionals builds reputation by leading media relations and content creation, guiding social media and creating visual content. The Communications, Marketing and Public Affairs (CMPA) website provides more information about the team and how it amplifies McMaster’s ambition to advance societal health and well-being.
