Health, safety and well-being supports to start the school year

Tips and links to resources for students, faculty and staff as we get set to start the 2024-2025 academic year.

To promote a safe and healthy start to the 2024-25 academic year, every McMaster community member should become aware of the supports and resources available for students, faculty and staff.

Here are some tips and links to those resources:


Resources for McMaster Community Members

Explore the resources page for valuable tools and support for students, faculty and staff. Find links to virtual and on-campus supports, including:

    Student supports: Find links to wellness, accommodations and cultural support for students. Equity & inclusion: Support for discrimination, harassment and sexual violence. Faculty & staff supports: find links to counselling and professional development resources. Mental health & well-being: Learn about comprehensive well-being initiatives and counselling on campus, as well as crisis support services.

    The app could provide critical information faster than other communication channels. Other features of the McMaster Safety App include sharing your location with a friend while walking, as well as quick access to support resources and contacting Campus Safety Services. The McMaster Safety App is available for free download at Google Play and the Apple Store.
