The Prime Minister has designated March 11 a National Day of Observance to commemorate the people who lost their lives and the significant impacts we have all felt because of COVID-19. All federal buildings across Canada will fly flags at half-mast.

McMaster University will do the same, lowering flags to half-mast on campus to align with this national gesture.
