Exterior of the side of the Engineering Technology Building on a summer day

The Engineering Technology Building will partially reopen on Thursday, Feb. 5The building was closed Tuesday after a burst pipe caused flooding.

On Wednesday, an external environmental consultant completed an assessment of the building and determined that it is safe to occupy.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Floors 1 through 5 will reopen for scheduled classes, labs and activities
  • The basement will remain closed until further notice for cleanup and repairs. Those who have classes or other labs in these spaces should connect with their instructors for more information
  • The north elevators are temporarily out of service
  • Some of the entrances to the building remain out of service while repairs are underway.

We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work to get the building fully operational.
