CUPE members vote yes to ratifying new tentative collective agreement

The agreement will go before McMaster’s Board of Governors for ratification on Thursday, December 15.

McMaster reached a tentative deal with CUPE on Saturday, December 10.

“Having all TAs and RAs back in their roles is an important milestone,” said Susan Tighe, provost and vice-president (Academic). “Strikes can be challenging, but we know that TAs and RAs are committed to supporting students and we are eager to welcome CUPE members back to work. We all have a role to play in coming back together with mutual respect.”
