This June, McMaster’s Office of Alumni Engagement is once again bringing the McMaster Stratford Seminar Series to alumni and friends digitally in conjunction with the Stratford Festival.
If you want to know a little more about Shakespeare’s works, the series will feature Stratford Festival artists and academic experts sharing background on the festival’s outdoor programming this season.
“We have a longstanding partnership with McMaster and the Hamilton communities. For almost as long as the Stratford Festival has existed, we’ve collaborated with McMaster to bring together, artists, audiences and scholars” explains Lois Adamson, The Tim and Frances Price Director of Education at the Stratford Festival.
“While we are missing the chance to meet in person to see shows and explore the work together, we have had the opportunity to create and offer a series of virtual events featuring scholars, artists and arts workers, providing new and exciting insights into various aspects of what makes the Stratford Festival unique. We look forward to continuing these remote events that allow us to meet with audiences and McMaster alumni across the world.”
The webinars will not be recorded, so viewers should tune in live to enjoy the series. Here is the line-up:
